Worry Wields Worry

Day3

Week15

1Samuel 10

“When you have departed from me today, you will find two men by Rachel’s tomb in the territory of Benjamin at Zelzah. And they will say to you, ‘The donkeys which you went to look for have been found. And now, your father has stopped caring about the donkeys, and worries for you, saying, “What will I do for my son?” ’”

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭10‬:‭2‬ ‭MEV‬‬

Cross references

1 Samuel 9:3-5;

Genesis 35:19-20

Worry Wields Worry

Saul told his servant that he was afraid his father would begin to worry about him because they had been searching so long.

Isn’t it interesting that the very thing he feared and spoke about actually happened.

What are you speaking about?

Job had a similar experience on a much greater scale.

Job 3:25-26

Worry does not profit anyone!

What we say carries power when we believe it!

Are you believing negative things about your situation?

Are you saying them?

Do not be surprised when the things that you worry about and talk about come to pass.

What do you think would happen if you started talking about positive outcomes?

What is you believed those positive outcomes were possible?

Action Step

Examine your words.

Buy some duct tape for your mouth.

When you are ready for change, rip off the tape and

start using your words with positive purpose!
