Without A Word
Have you ever felt like God is silent?
Maybe He feels distant or far away?
Magnify that idea or feeling.
The people of Israel had a rich history of miracles, signs and wonders, but we must remember that they also had a history of over 400 years of bondage with seemingly silence from God.
Jewish tradition tells us that Samuel was about 12 years old when He heard God call him.
We know that God was still actively answering prayer’s because Samuel’s mother,Hannah prayed for a Son and God answered only 13 years earlier.

God is faithful and He is always willing to speak to an obedient heart.
The famine happens on our end when we are unable to hear because our hearts grow cold and disobedient.
It is like the sunrise and sunset. They happen every morning and evening, but do we see them?
Lack of vision is not because God isn’t showing up.
The sunrise is there.
Are we willing to make the effort to rise up and look for it?
We have raised a generation of kids who are committed to compromise and doing what is right in their own sight. (Judges 17:6)
God is faithful!
He is always reachable!
Those who humbly ask are answered.
Those who seek, find.
Those who knock, the door is opened to.
Action Step
Repent!
Sound the alarm
Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God!
Just like John The Baptist,
We are to prepare the way for Jesus Christ soon return.
Are you making preparations in your heart?
Go and tell
