Day3
Mark14:69-70
“The servant girl saw him again and began to say to those who stood by, “This man is one of them.” But again, he denied it. A little while later, those who stood by said again to Peter, “Surely, you are one of them. For you are a Galilean, and your speech confirms it.””
Mark 14:69-70 MEV
Cross references
Acts 2:7
Does your speech confirm it?
Onward Christian soldiers going on to war, with the cross of Jesus going on before.
Do you remember that song?
I remember everyone singing loudly and proudly those lyrics growing up.
It is easy to be bold when we are gathered together with other believers in church.
As Christian’s we are people of faith.
Does our speech confirm it?
When we find ourselves alone, so to speak with out other believers in the world of our daily life, does our speech confirm that we have faith in Jesus and in the promises found in His Word?
What are we saying?
Are we complaining about how we hate our job, how this person didn’t do that and this person did this?
Are we talking about how tired we are or how this hurts and that hurts?
What are we saying?
Our language should be like our Creator. He spoke things that were not in existence and they appeared.Romans 4:17
Jesus said , ““For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says.”
Mark 11:23 MEV
If you don’t like your circumstances, then find a scripture about it, an answer and start saying that and keep saying that until it appears in your life.
Instead of saying, I’m so tired, say “The joy of the Lord is my strength. I have the strength of God because I have joy” . Laugh about it by faith and see if your joy doesn’t become full and your strength renewed.
This is how we renew our mind to Christ’s.
We say what He said!
Is faith coming out of your mouth?
Does your speech confirm it?
Our language should be like our Creator. He spoke things that were not in existence and they appeared. Romans 4:17
