Day2
Week16
1Samuel 10
“When they came to the hill, a group of prophets met him. And the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them. So when all who previously knew him saw that he prophesied among the prophets, the people said one to another, “What is this that has come upon the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?””

Who is this?
Did you have a radical transformation when you were born again?
We can see here that Saul was acting totally out of character for his usual behavior.
God gave Him a new heart.
My transformation wasn’t as obvious in the beginning, but years later when I really began to pursue a closer relationship with God, I remember my daughter being mad at me. She said, “ I want my old Mom back! All you ever do is pray.”
I had changed and it was evident.
Our relationship with God is supposed to be progressive, growing more and more.
I heard it stated this way once, “If you were on trial for being a Christ follower, would there be enough evidence to convict you?”
Action Step
It’s self-audit time again
Don’t worry, Holy Spirit is much more compassionate than the IRS.
Ask yourself:
Do my neighbors see a difference in my behavior? Do they see love?
My co-workers?
My family?
