Day2

1 Samuel
“There is no one holy like the Lord, There is no one besides You, There is no Rock like our God. Do not go on boasting so very proudly, Do not let arrogance come out of your mouth; For the Lord is a God of knowledge, And by Him actions are weighed (examined).”

What Are You Saying?
Have you ever been around someone who always had a better story?
No matter what was told; they had experienced a more grand or more tragic situation?
Would you agree that type of boasting for attention is quite annoying?
We all love to hear praise.
We all love to hear ourselves talk.
Consider the words coming from your own mouth.
Are you complaining?
Are you just talking to fill the silence?
Is there purpose to your speech?
Every idle word that comes out of our mouths is being recorded in Heaven.(Matthew 12:36)
The things in our heart come out of our mouth.
(Matthew 15:18-20)
Is it praise worthy?
Is it of good report?
Does it glorify God?
Does it build up others?
Action Step:
Again today, take an audit of the words that your heart is speaking.
Ask yourself the questions from above and allow Holy Spirit to guide you.
Life and death are in the power of your tongue.
(Proverbs 18:21)
Praise brings the presence of God.
In His presence is the fullness of joy!
Let our mouth be filled with praise
