Day5
Mark 13:32-37
““Concerning that day and exact hour, no one knows when it will arrive, not the angels of heaven, not even the Son—only the Father knows. This is why you must be waiting, watching and praying, because no one knows when that season of time will come.” “For those days can be compared to a man who was about to leave on a journey, but before leaving he placed his servants in charge and gave each one work to do while he was away. Then he commanded the watchman to be on guard at all times. So I say to you, keep awake and alert—for you have no idea when the master of the house will return; in the evening, at midnight, at four o’clock in the morning, or at dawn. Be alert, for he’s coming suddenly and may find you sleeping! And what I say to the four of you, I say to everyone—be awake at all times!””

Watch, pray, expect!
Have you heard of the hymn, “Sweet Hour of Prayer “?
How often do you spend an hour in prayer?
I have spent hours studying, but hardly ever if even ever have I spent one solid hour dedicated to prayer. Distractions come so quickly and my mind hops from one lily pad to another.
Jesus commands us many different times to pray.
He said, ”Take up my yoke and learn of me.” Matthew 11:29
Learn what? What did Jesus do often? Pray! He went away and prayed. He talked to His Father.
The neck represents our will and conscience. Where is a yoke placed? Around the neck joining one to another.
Jesus is asking us to surrender our will for His, which by the way He says is easy and light. Matthew 11:30.
Join with Him and pray in the Holy Spirit. ( pray using the gift of speaking in tongues)if you have not received this amazing gift, just ask Him and believe when you pray.
Be alert, watching with expectancy.
We are alive at a most glorious time in the unfolding of God’s plan.
But are we awake?
Watch and pray so you will not be fooled.
