Walls

Day2

Week 19

Hebrews 13

”So we must arise and join him outside the religious “walls” and bear his disgrace. For we have no city here on earth to be our permanent home, but we seek the city that is destined to come.“

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Cross references

Hebrews 11:26; 12:22;

Micah 2:10

Walls

Have you built up walls around your heart?

If we are honest, we all have built some. Some of us may have built a fortress and others more of a fence. Some may have an invisible electric fence that can only be experienced up close.

Jesus came to tear down walls. He wants us to build bridges and not walls.(cliché, right?)

Humility is how we build bridges and pride builds walls.

Jesus was humiliated for us and we can expect no less than that to follow Him.

He is coming soon.

Will He find walls or bridges?

Action Step

Prayer is simply having an honest conversation with God.

”Get up and go, for this is not the resting place, because uncleanness ruins, and ruin sickens.“

‭‭Micah‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬ ‭MEV‬‬

What stands out to you about this verse?

Reread it and ask God to search your heart.

Write down anything that comes to mind.

Lord, show me my walls. Help me to look with your eyes and receive your correction and love. In Jesus name Amen.
