Waiting

We have all experienced periods of waiting in our lives. Would you agree it can be very challenging?

How do you handle waiting?

Is a red stop light a challenge for you when you are in a hurry?

What about the checkout line?

If we can learn to walk in God’s rest during these trivial times, we will be much better equipped to handle waiting in times of crisis.

Action Step

Check yourself the next time you are caught at a long light or in the slowest checkout line?

Ask Holy Spirit to bring it to your attention and help you remain in His rest.

God, it can be hard to wait sometimes. But even when I wait, I know You are with me.

Thank You for always going before me—for preparing my future before I get there. Any control I feel that I have, I give it to You. Thank You for being the One I can rely on and for comforting me as I wait. In Jesus' name, Amen.
