Warning #5
Danger of Rejecting God’s Grace
Unshakable Grace
What does it mean that God is a devouring or consuming fire in terms of our relationship with our God?
Simply put, He wants all of us. He is jealous for our affection. He gave us all of Himself through Jesus, His precious Son and so He wants all of our hearts.
This is not tit for tat.
Unshakable Grace has been offered to us out of a completely unselfish motive. Our salvation is a free gift that wasn’t deserved or earned simply because He loves us.
Grace is all consuming to the extent that we allow.
Our degree of surrender does not alter Grace. As much as we surrender to God, Grace consumes with lavish love.
Our faith journey is anchored to unshakable Grace, which is Jesus.
As we surrender our control, Grace consumes us more and more. Freedom comes with surrender and we are never done surrendering.
Praise God for giving us access to an unshakable Kingdom and an all consuming Grace.
Action Step
Have you been rejecting God’s Grace by holding on to control over a situation in your life?
