Day 1
Mark 13:14-19
““When you witness what Daniel prophesied, ‘the disgusting destroyer,’ standing where it must not be [Let the reader learn what it means], then those in the land of Judah must escape to higher ground. On that day, if you happen to be outside, don’t go back inside to gather your belongings. And if you’re working out in the field, don’t run back home to get a coat. It will be especially hard for pregnant women and for those nursing their babies when those days come. So pray that your escape will not be during the winter months. For this will be a time of great misery beyond the magnitude of anything the world has ever seen from the beginning of time or ever will see.”

Understand!
Mark added “that the reader understand”,
To encourage us to seek the Lord of this mystery.
Jesus warned the people to be ready. He warned them not to look back, that there would not be time to make preparations. He wants us to be ready.
We must have as much of God’s Word in our heart as possible, so that we can take it on the run. Now is the time to prepare our hearts and minds.
He also urged them to pray. Not just about our whims and circumstances, but about the timing of our testing, so that we not be caught in perilous weather.
Imagine having to go and run to the mountains today in this blizzard.
This scripture encourages me because it shows me that Jesus cares about me and He is faithful to those who ask.
Understand that Very hard times will come. Take advantage of the days we have and pray asking for your future provision.
Draw close to God and seek wisdom. He will draw close to you.
James 4:8.
