Day3
Week25
1Samuel 15
“Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned. For I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord, and your words, because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. Now therefore, please pardon my sin and return with me, that I may worship the Lord.” Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you. For you have rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected you from being king over Israel.””

The Heart of The Matter
Saul repented, or did he?
Basically Saul said, “Okay, you got me, I messed up, but I was afraid of the people. Just let this slide and come with me so I can look forgiven in the eyes of the people.”
Does it sound like humility to you?
God sees through all of our excuses and pretend religion.
He is seeking our whole heart.
He gave us His through His Son Jesus.
How can we offer Him any less?
Action Step
What has God asked you to do or say, but you were afraid of what people would say?
Ouch! Fear is a liar!
People want to be saved!
The world is like a burning building.
Are we going to sound the alarm?
