The Goal

What is the goal?

How will we know if we achieve the goal?

Who sets the standard for the goal?

David had allowed his selfish lusts to set the standard for his goals and although he achieved the goal, in the end he failed to align with the ultimate goal of pleasing his Creator and most precious friend, Adonnai.

Do your goals line up with Gods?

It is easy to lose sight of God’s will in our busy lives. If a man like David who was the apple of God’s eye could be distracted and fall that far, then we must be careful to heed the warning of this lesson and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus!

That is the goal! Keep our eyes fixed on Him. It’s that simple.

Action Step

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.”

‭‭Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭30‬ ‭MEV‬‬

What would it look like to show God’s love today?

Invest a few moments reflecting on that.

Talk to Him about some of your favorite things about Him?
