Day4
Mark 14:6:8
“Jesus said to them, “Leave her alone! Why are you so critical of this woman? She has honored me with this beautiful act of kindness. You will always have the poor, whom you can help whenever you want, but you will not always have me. When she poured the fragrant oil over me, she was preparing my body in advance of my burial. She has done all that she could to honor me.”

She did what she could.
There will always be need or lack here on earth. Because of sin the earth is under the curse of the law and lack.
This woman did what she could do. She willingly gave all to Jesus. She had an opportunity and she took it. Timing is so important. Jesus was not going to be physically on earth with them much longer.
What if she would have hesitated thinking about what people would say or fearing that she would not have provision for her own needs? This was only 2 days before Jesus was arrested.
She didn’t know this was her last opportunity. She just obeyed and did what she could.
We no longer live under the curse. Jesus destroyed the curse by His work on the cross and by conquering death.
As a born again believer, a Christ follower, we have access to every thing Jesus has. We are His bride. He gave us His name. We are the church. We have Him with us through the Holy Spirit anytime we want.
We are so blessed!
She did what she could.
Are we?
