Rolled Away

Day5

Mark 15:47;16:1-4

“Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joseph were there and saw exactly where they laid the body of Jesus.”

Mark 15:47 TPT

“On the first day of the week, as the Sabbath was ending, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of Jacob, and Salome made their way to the tomb. It was very early in the morning as the first streaks of light were beginning to be seen in the sky. They had purchased aromatic embalming spices so that they might anoint his body. And they had been asking one another, “Who can roll away the heavy stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?” But when they arrived, they discovered that the very large stone was already rolled away!”

Rolled Away

Have you ever been preoccupied with a challenge only to discover that the very thing you thought was an obstacle had already been taken care of?

Maybe a debt you had been worried about was already paid or a daunting task at work that you discovered had been taken care of by another.

Something as simple as a chore needing done and another took care of it for you.

What a relief! A weight lifted. Sometimes we may even feel silly afterwards for fretting so much.

1Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all of our cares on Him because He cares for us.

Roll the care over onto Him.

Early in the morning the heavy stone was already rolled away for the women at the tomb where the had seen Joseph lay Jesus body.

It was already taken care of!

Even when we can’t see the evidence. God has already taken care of it.

Leave it in His care.

He already paid a high price for everything we could ever face.

He rolled it away at the tomb. He is no longer there. He is alive and ready for us to roll away all our worries and anxiety onto Him!

Roll away!
