Day1
Week 8
Hebrews 8
”Now this is the crowning point of what we are saying: We have a magnificent King-Priest who ministers for us at the right hand of God. He is enthroned with honor next to the throne of the Majesty on high.“
Hebrews 8:1 TPT
Cross references
Hebrews 1:3;
Colossians 3:1
Right Hand
Why is Jesus seated at the right hand of The Father?
The right hand is reserved for someone with highest honor and holds great authority.
Jesus uses His honor and authority to minister for us.
What does that mean?
Does He offer sacrifices like the earthly priests?
No!
He offered Himself once for all. His blood has already paid for all sin.
He is attending to our needs by bringing them to The Father.
He worships The Father with our tithes and offerings and He talks to God The Father about how precious we are to Him and they rejoice, as well as weep with us.
Action Step
Let that sink in for a minute.
Worship Him and thank Him.
Think about it throughout your day.
