When you walk into a room what do people say about you?

Does the tension in the room change?

Does your reputation precede you?

David’s fame was wide spread and the exaggerations with it.

Have you ever done something that your not proud of or, for that matter , you are proud of and before you can blink, everyone knows about it?

What about our reputation as a Christ follower?

I have noticed that people change their language when I am around them. They apologize for cursing and even believers are careful about speaking negatively about their own circumstances.

Jesus was known for His compassion and miracles, but also for exposing hypocrisy among the religious. His reputation led Him to the cross.

What reputation do you have?

Action Step

We have a responsibility to stand out for Jesus.

Some will go before Kings.

Some will be martyred.

Is your reputation a good representation of Jesus?

Ask Him.
