Redeemed
Did you know that you are chosen by God and that you are His inheritance?
What does it mean to be redeemed?
Redeemed:
The action of saving or being saved from sin, error, or evil. The action of regaining or gaining possession of something in exchange for payment, or clearing a debt.
Galatians 3:13-14 NIV
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
The new covenant is between God the Father and the resurrected Lord Jesus. It can never be broken.
The believer is in Christ Jesus, the mediator of the new covenant. All the blessings listed in the first part of Deuteronomy 28 belong to you in Christ Jesus.
Jesus redeemed you from the curse of sin, sickness, poverty, fear, and every evil work of the devil. He came that you might have life, and have it more abundantly. John 10:10.
When you stand firm on your covenant, the devil and his curse have no more dominion over you.
Jesus’ blood paid the full price and satisfied the demands of justice for Adams treason.
The deliverance out of Egypt was a picture of Jesus’ redemption for all mankind.
Action Step
Are you walking in the fullness of the Blessing?
Are you struggling under the pressure of the curse?
You are redeemed!
Ask God to open your eyes and see how to walk in the blessing and receive all He has for you.
