1Samuel 30
Week 48
“So David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken, and David rescued his two wives. Now there was nothing missing, from the smallest thing to the greatest, neither sons, nor daughters, or plunder, or anything which they had taken. David brought back all of it.”

Recover, Rescue And Restore
Has the devil been stealing from you?
Physically, financially, emotionally, family, spiritually…..
David’s response to the attack at Ziklag is an outline of what our response needs to be.
We have every right to recover, rescue and restore everything that has been taken and more!
We are not just supposed to sit here and take it, but stand up and fight for what is rightfully ours in Christ Jesus.
This is the plan.
Despise- David grieved the loss and encouraged himself in the Lord, which gave him permission to: Despise the enemy!
Find- David sought the Lord and gained instruction. He gathered his men and went looking for what had been stolen. You can’t find what you don’t look for. Find what’s yours!
Catch- David and his men were in pursuit. God put the right person in their path with the right “intel” to lead them to catch the enemy. They got up and did something. Catch the enemy!
Summon- David called out the enemy or summoned them by way of surprise attack. The enemy of our soul has a habit of celebrating loudly. This is a good indication that God is ready to deliver the victory, but it is our job to thank Him in advance for the restoration. Deliver the summons!
God has promised to restore back seven fold!
Much More than what was stolen!
Action Step
God’s plan is always to recover, rescue and restore, but we need to remember that we have a roll to play.
Seek God and ask Him to map out your plan.
