Day4
Week 17
Hebrews 12
”Make very sure that you never refuse to listen to God when he speaks! For the God who spoke on earth from Sinai is the same God who now speaks from heaven. Those who heard him speak his living Word on earth found nowhere to hide, so what chance is there for us to escape if we turn our backs on God and refuse to hear his warnings as he speaks from heaven? The earth was rocked at the sound of his voice from the mountain, but now he has promised, “Once and for all I will not only shake the systems of the world, but also the unseen powers in the heavenly realm!” Now this phrase “once and for all” clearly indicates the final removal of things that are shaking, that is, the old order, so only what is unshakable will remain.“

Warning #5
Danger of Rejecting God’s Grace
Open Heart Surgery
Is your faith shaky today?
Shaky faith comes from unresolved lies or broken off arrows that the enemy shot through your heart and you attempted to fix throughout your life.
One of those lies comes from our relationship with our parents.
The Bible often compares the discipline of the Lord to a father’s or mother’s discipline of their child.
This discipline is referring to a parent who deeply loves their child.
What happens when a person never received that deep Love from their parents, but only received harsh discipline, neglect or rejection?
Many times we have trouble understanding a perfect loving Father because our experience with human parents was very flawed.
This makes it hard to trust God and receive His love and grace.
Do you have a good understanding of God’s Love, but still have a difficult time believing it applies to you?
We need to allow God to perform open heart surgery and renew our minds and hearts to receive the fullness of His grace and love on the inside.
God’s discipline is an act of His grace. If we don’t understand His love for us, we won’t receive it as Grace, but reject it because we will feel it as a personal rejection instead of loving guidance.
It is scary to unravel wounds from our past, but if we do not allow Holy Spirit to have access to our wounds, He cannot heal them.
Leaving festering wounds is very dangerous to our faith journey.
Time is short as it was in the days of Noah. Faith opened Noah’s heart to receive revelation warnings from God.
We need to follow suit and surrender to a Holy Spirit open heart surgery so that we do not reject Grace.
Action Step
Are you ready to unravel before God?
Take a deep breath and exhale slowly.
Do not leave this space until you are ready.
