Day5
Week 9
Hebrews 9
”And so it was necessary for all the earthly symbols of the heavenly realities to be purified with these animal sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves required a superior sacrifice than these. For the Messiah did not enter into the earthly tabernacle made by men, which was but an echo of the true sanctuary, but he entered into heaven itself to appear before the face of God in our place. Under the old system year after year the high priest entered the most holy sanctuary with blood that was not his own. But the Messiah did not need to repeatedly offer himself year after year, for that would mean he must suffer repeatedly ever since the fall of the world. But now he has appeared at the fulfillment of the ages to abolish sin once and for all by the sacrifice of himself! Every human being is appointed to die once, and then to face God’s judgment. But when we die we will be face-to-face with Christ, the One who experienced death once for all to bear the sins of many! And now to those who eagerly await him, he will appear a second time; not to deal with sin, but to bring us the fullness of salvation.“

Never Again
Do you ever get tired of doing the same things over and over again?
We live in an imperfect world so we can expect to have to do things repeatedly.
Every day we have responsibilities to maintain our livelihood.
We have a choice as to whether we consider those responsibilities as drudgery or opportunities to be thankful we are able to fulfill our duties.
Thank God a blood 🩸sacrifice is never again needed.
There is nothing we could ever do to achieve that anyway. We are imperfect people, unworthy of all the blessings God gives us.
Jesus, the only perfect one took care of that once for all of us.
My two year old great grandson is often heard shouting, "I did it", when he accomplishes a small task.
We could very well shout,"He did it" when we remember Jesus sacrifice.
Thank God a blood 🩸sacrifice is never again needed. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
We can look forward to the time when we too will be in heaven with Jesus rejoicing with the angels and worshipping God our Father in His Holy Temple.
Action step
If you woke up this morning, thank Him for another day.
If you have food to eat, clothes to wear and a roof over your head, thank Him for His provision.
Praise Him Now!
