Day1
Week16
1Samuel 10
““Then you will go down before me to Gilgal. And listen, I will be coming down to you, in order to offer burnt offerings, and to offer sacrifices of peace offerings. Seven days you will wait, until I come to you. Then I will make known to you what you will do.” And it happened, that when he turned his back to go from Samuel, that God gave him another heart. And all those signs came to pass that day.”

Motion Makes Momentum
Wouldn’t it be nice if every waiting period would have a specific end time.
Samuel told Saul that he would wait for 7 days.
It seems that if you know how long the wait is going to be it would be easier to wait patiently, right?
Like the line at the amusement park has a sign that the wait is 2 hrs.
Then you can prepare yourself for the wait.
Most of the time we think of waiting as down time or standing still doing nothing.
We usually waste our waiting.
Wait is a verb, which means action.
What are you doing while you are waiting?
When Saul turned, God gave him another heart. He had to move first before anything changed.
He could have stood there waiting for Samuel to tell him to get going like he had previously done, but this time he didn’t wait to be told, he stepped into his break through. He turned. He put movement with his waiting.
What are you waiting for?
If you are waiting on finances, are you preparing a budget?
If you need healing, are you planning to be well? What does it look like or what will it feel like to be well? Are thanking God for healing and praying for others who need healing?
Are you waiting for a relationship to be restored?
Have you forgiven the person? Have you reached out and shown them love and acceptance daily?
Movement makes momentum!
Action Step
Move a little.
One tiny step with God makes big waves!
