Day4
1Samuel 25
Week 41
“If someone chases you to kill you, the Lord your God will save your life. But he will throw away your enemies like a stone from a sling. The Lord promised to do many good things for you, and he will keep his promises. He will make you leader over Israel. So don’t do anything that would make you guilty of killing innocent people. Please don’t fall into that trap. Please remember me when the Lord blesses you.””
1 Samuel 25:29-31 ERV

Have you ever watched a movie or show about a trial? Remember the scene where the defendant reacts to a witness testimony and blurts out something stupid attempting to defend himself?
You just want to reach into the screen and shake him. “Shut up! Let your attorney handle it! It’s a trap!” You probably think in your mind.
Well friend, we have access to the greatest defense attorney ever! Jesus!
No need to defend ourselves!
If you are struggling with defensive thinking, it is usually rooted in pride. Ouch!
