Day3
1 Thessalonians 3:11-13
“Now may our Father God and our precious Lord Jesus guide our steps on a path straight back to you. And may the Lord increase your love until it overflows toward one another and for all people, just as our love overflows toward you. Then your hearts will be strengthened in holiness so that you may be flawless and pure before the face of our God and Father at the appearing of our Lord Jesus with all his holy ones. Amen!”

Increase and Overflow
This prayer is so powerful.
We all want to increase and overflow sounds wonderful.
Paul is asking for God to direct our steps and specifically in the area of loving each other.
He prays that our hearts will be strengthened in holiness.
What does that mean?
It means without contention or strife.
Examine your heart today and ask Holy Spirit to reveal any strife or contention that may be lingering or festering.
What does that look like?
It can be surprising.
It may be hiding in plain sight as agitation.
Is there someone who easily agitates you? Maybe there is unforgiveness hiding in your heart toward them.
Is there someone you avoid to keep peace?
Maybe you are harboring resentment about a situation.
These little foxes will keep you from the increase and overflow that God has for you.
Holy Spirit, In Jesus name,
help me see the foxes and get rid of them before they spoil my vine. As You reveal them, Lord help me to repent and take the steps I need to let go of it and be free. Amen!
I receive your help!
I am free!
