Day4
Mark14:43-45
“Immediately, while He was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great crowd with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. Now he who betrayed Him had given them a sign, saying, “Whomever I kiss, He is the One. Seize Him and lead Him away safely.” So as soon as he came, he went to Him immediately and said, “Rabbi, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.”

Immediately
This word, immediately is mentioned twice in today’s passage.
Things happen quickly in our lives. One minute everything seems fine and the next minute the bottom falls out and you’re in a mess.
It is so important to be ready. Jesus was pleading with His disciples to watch and pray. He wasn’t asking them to pray for Him, He was telling them that they needed to be prepared for what was coming.
We need to be prepared for what is coming.
Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand! Ephesians 6.
Stand ready! We need our whole armor on.
Think of when you prepare for your day by getting dressed. You wouldn’t leave your house with out your pants.
We need to be ready at all times. Do not wait until you wake in the morning to put on your armor. Put it on and keep it on. Sleep in it! Be ready, so when immediately happens you are not caught without your pants.
