Day1
Week14
1Samuel 9
“The servant answered Saul again and said, “Behold, I have in my hand a quarter of a shekel of silver. I will give it to the man of God and he will tell us our way.” (Formerly in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he said, “Come, let’s go to the seer”—for today’s prophet was formerly called a seer.) Then Saul said to his servant, “Well said. Come, let’s go!” So they went to the town where the man of God was.”

I Have, I Will
Saul was desperate, tired, and out of hope.
Are you facing hopeless circumstances today?
Our passage today is a beautiful display of humility by Saul’s servant.
The servant had not lost hope. He was willing to see just a little farther. He looked at what he had, though only a little and was willing to give it all.
Often times we dismiss what we have to offer because we think it or we are too small or insignificant.
Anytime you give everything away God takes notice!
What are you holding back?
If it won’t meet your needs, turn it into a seed and sow it or give it.
Remember that God orchestrated this whole scenario in the first place.
God is orchestrating your scenario as well.
What do you have?
Will you?
Action Step
Look again. Look at Jesus.
Ask Him to show you what you have and what you need to let go of.
What you are holding onto may be the very thing that will lead to your answer.
