Day1
Week17
1Samuel 10
“So they ran and took him from there. When he stood among the people, he was taller than any of the people from his shoulders and upward. Then Samuel said to all the people, “Do you see him whom the Lord has chosen? Truly there is none like him among all the people.” And all the people shouted and said, “Long live the king.””

Head and Shoulders
It would appear that God understands our need to see.
God gave them a stand out difference. Saul was head and shoulders above the rest of the people.
What are you waiting to see?
It is easy for us to judge this situation because we have a bird’s eye view. We have been reading about Saul’s lack of confidence, ambition and character.
The people only had what they saw before them that day.
Or did they?
They also had the history of their God’s faithfulness to go by as well.
Are you looking for a sign to move forward or believe the promise of God in your situation?
Appearance can be deceiving. Sometimes a physical sign isn’t what it appears to be, yet we tend to trust it.
Focus on God’s faithfulness!
Remember what He has already done!
Action Step
Make a lost of God’s faithfulness to you.
What has He already done?
He chose you in your mess to be His child!
What else?
Focus on those things with gratitude and let God take care of the rest.
