Day5
Week31
2 Samuel
“The Gibeonites said to him, “We have no concern for silver or gold from Saul or his household, nor is it for us to put any man in Israel to death.” He said to them, “What are you saying I should do for you?” They said to the king, “Regarding the man who put an end to us and planned to exterminate us from the entire territory of Israel, let seven of his male descendants be handed over to us, and we will hang them before the Lord at Gibeah of Saul, the chosen one of the Lord.” The king said, “I will hand them over.””

Hand Them Over
Have you been seeking God for wisdom in your life in any area?
Have you felt an urge or an idea about a possible area or habit that you may need to let go of?
Just like David had to take extreme measures for the people of Israel, in regard to your personal life and changes it may be time to hand them over.
Pay close attention to what God is saying to you.
“My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh. Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.”
Proverbs 4:20-23 AMPC
It may be a change in diet, lifestyle, finances, relationships… whatever you have asked for wisdom about, hand them over to God and heed His instructions.
Action Step
So right now, reflect on your life. What fruit is it producing?
Are you experiencing love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness
—or are there pockets of bitterness, anger, jealousy, and self-indulgence in your life?
What steps do you need to take to "crucify" beliefs and attitudes pulling you away from God?
Let the Holy Spirit show you what you need to remove, and then allow Him to transform
your attitudes, actions, and desires.
🙏🏼
God, in every situation and every season, You are good and You are God. Although I currently feel weary and worn, I know that You are with me and that You give me the strength to endure the hardest of situations and seasons.
So I surrender all that I am to You.
Replace my mistakes with more of Your presence.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
