Godly Goal Setting
A. Write the vision/make it plain.
B. So a seed.
C. If it delays, wait for it, it will come.
D. The just shall live by faith.
What is your desired harbor?
Pick one thing or answer you need from God.
Write it down. Write the vision, the goal.
Do you need healing?
Do you need finances? Start there. Make it plain, sharp and clear.
Example:
~ I need a dryer. A debt-free dryer. A white large capacity dryer. A new dryer. (I wrote this vision or goal 1/2020)
~ I sowed a $100 seed to my mom for my dryer 1/2020. ( I was using her dryer at the time. each seed will reproduce after its kind.)
~ I looked up scriptures on sowing and reaping. I confessed those scriptures daily. I listened to sermons on prosperity.
~ I praised God for my new dryer every time I went to use my mom's dryer and every time I thought about not having one. I continued confessing my specific scriptures out loud daily.
If you remember, the pandemic hit in March of 2020. I was laid off in April and did not qualify for traditional unemployment.
Even though the enemy came in like a lion and things got worse financially, I kept standing on God’s promises and confessed them out loud and continued to thank Him for my new debt free dryer!
God gave me a dream job in the middle of a pandemic. I became a live in nanny for my 2 and 5 year old nephew’s for the same money that I was making before the lay off.
Praise God!!!
~ Money came in 7/2020 for my new debt-free white large capacity dryer. I paid cash for it in September, 2020. Praise God!
It took me that long to build up Faith to let go of the money in my bank account to actually purchase the dryer!
As I wrote in previous lessons, I confessed scriptures about healing for two years before my healing manifested.
As you can see this time it took months.
God is faithful and the more you use your faith, the stronger it becomes. Just like physical exercise, Faith exercises build your faith.
The size of your God determines the size of your goal. Godly goal setting always starts with a promise of God (find a scripture).
Don’t look at your limitations, look at the promises of God.
