Day3
Week5
1 Samuel
““Therefore the Lord God of Israel says, ‘I surely said that your house, and the house of your father, should walk before Me forever,’ but now the Lord says, ‘Far be it from Me to do so, for those who honor Me, I will honor, and those that despise Me will be humbled. The days are coming when I will cut off your authority and the strength of your father’s house, so there shall not be an old man in your house. You shall see the distress of My dwelling, despite all the good which will be done for Israel. And there shall not be an elderly man in your house perpetually.”
1 Samuel 2:30-32 MEV

Generations
Have you heard talk about generational curses?
Here is an example of one.
The sins of the father delivered unto the son’s for generations.
Adam started the curse of sin delivered down to all mankind.
Jesus was sent of God to restore mankind and deliver us from this curse.
Forgiveness is the essential ingredient to receive this free gift of restoration.
It sounds simple and it is, but….
Sin is always lurking at the door and it’s desire is for you.
Amplified Bible
If you do well [believing Me and doing what is acceptable and pleasing to Me], will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well [but ignore My instruction], sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you [to overpower you], but you must master it.”
Is there something in your life that you feel like you just can’t break free from?
Maybe something that your entire family has struggled with?
It is possible that there is a generational curse happening.
If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and you are living in obedience to His Word, then you qualify to rule over this situation.
You have been given victory over it!
In order to receive it, you have to build up your faith by studying what God’s Word says about your situation.
Yes, you are back in school and it takes effort on your part.
No more floating along on a cloud
