Forgiveness is a choice!
Yesterday we talked about the power of believing and saying.
There is another essential ingredient to the recipe that must not be left out or substituted!
Forgiveness. We have to take action and forgive by faith.
It is totally up to us to forgive others.
Choose to forgive. Say it out loud and believe. You most likely won’t feel like you have forgiven that person at first. You may have to actively forgive them by faith everyday or minute for a time.
Every time you begin to think about the offense, say out loud, “no, I choose to forgive them.” Now, think of a time when God forgave you. Praise Him for His faithfulness.
Repeat this act of faith until one day you will have complete peace.
Unforgiveness is a wicked tool of the enemy to rob us of peace.
Offences will come, but it is a choice to be offended.
When we choose not to forgive, we are tying God’s hands. He can not forgive us. We are essentially
stopping the power flow from God to us. The connection becomes static and unclear.
The power to move mountains in your life can only flow on a clear, pure line.
Get rid of the static!
Forgive!
