Day3
Week 16
Hebrews 12
”And have you forgotten his encouraging words spoken to you as his children? He said, “My child, don’t underestimate the value of the discipline and training of the Lord God, or get depressed when he has to correct you. For the Lord’s training of your life is the evidence of his faithful love. And when he draws you to himself, it proves you are his delightful child.”“

Flash Back
When you were in school, do you remember your teacher saying, “Pay attention!”?
For most of us that would be a flash back in time. A memory some would prefer to forget, right?
Why is it that it is so much easier to have a memory flash back of negative things?
If I asked 10 people what their favorite restaurant is, only 2 would know on the spot.
If I asked the same 10 people what restaurant they had their worst experience in, at least 8 would know right away.
We need to make it a practice to have faith flash backs.
Remember when God showed up for you right when you needed it.?
A call or text from a friend, an unexpected financial gift, a revelation of His Word just when you were ready to give up…
These are the kind of flash back memories that will keep us encouraged and inspired.
Action Step
Think of 1 faith flash back and share it with the group.
Spend a few moments praising God.
Humble yourself before Him and ask Him to reveal any areas that need His help.
