Day5
Week3
Hebrews 3
“The same people who were delivered from bondage and brought out of Egypt by Moses, were the ones who heard and still rebelled. They grieved God for forty years by sinning in their unbelief, until they dropped dead in the desert. So God swore an oath that they would never enter into his calming place of rest all because they disobeyed him. It is clear that they could not enter into their inheritance because they wrapped their hearts in unbelief.”

REST
Are you tired, worn out, struggling, trying so hard to fix everything…?
Faith rests!
God created us to enjoy Him!
It is in His presence that we find everything we need and long for!
The above acronym will help you see how faith rests.
Unbelief and fear are the enemy of rest. Do not give place to the devil by allowing fear, doubt and unbelief to creep in.
Relax- 1 Peter 5:7, Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you!
Visualize a fisherman casting a line out over the water and watch as the hook( your problem) disappears into the water. Take a deep breath in through your nose and release it through your mouth.
Let the tension ease off your shoulders, relax.
Enjoy- Exodus 15:2 The Lord is my strength and my song.
He has given me victory! Smile and sing to the Lord! Just let Him love you. He will refresh you through His Word, through nature, in anything that you find yourself doing. Notice the things around you that He has provided for you and thank Him. He is there and He wants to enjoy you.
Give Him that opportunity.
Saturate- Psalm 16:11 says, “In Thy presence is fullness of joy.”
God's presence brings joy that is full, even overflowing.
God's joy and His other qualities overflow when we become saturated in Him.
The word saturate means to permeate until no more can be received, to soak thoroughly.
Think about a towel that is thoroughly wet to the point of dripping.
Read His Word, listen to His Word being taught, study His Word, just get quiet and let Him soak you in His love and promises.
Trust- Proverbs 3:5-7 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.”
It is so easy to trust our Heavenly Father after all that!
