Day1
1 Thessalonians 3:4-6
“Indeed, we told you before when we were with you that we would suffer tribulation, just as it came to pass, as you well know. For this reason, when I could no longer endure it, I sent to inquire about your faith, lest by some means the tempter might have tempted you, and our labor might have been in vain. But just now Timothy has come from you to us and brought us good news of your faith and love, and that you always have good memories of us, desiring greatly to see us, as we also desire to see you.”

Encourage
How long has it been since you shared a testimony of God’s faithfulness with someone who has been an encourager in your life?
The technology available for us today makes it so easy to shoot a quick text or email. We can make a call or even a video chat.
Paul lived in a time where none of this was available. He was in prison, isolated from everyone.
Paul wasn’t in an American prison where he would get a phone call here or there. He was isolated completely from those he loved and those he had helped.
That being said, I want to remind all of us that it is important to let those who encourage you know your victories, no matter how insignificant you think they are.
It brings great joy to both parties and even more it directs praise to God.
Who can you encourage today?
Your pastor, your friend, a co-worker, a Sunday school teacher….
Share your joy today and build one another up in faith.
