Easy Living

Are you a procrastinator?

Our story today finds King David enjoying easy living, while sending the men under his care out into battle.

This seems to be all good, but David is a warrior king who leads in battle. He is neglecting his duties. Procrastinating his obligations for the comfort of ease.

Procrastination can sneak in when we least expect it. Sometimes we think that delegating a task is the way to go, but if God has given it to you, then you need to carry it out. Danger lies ahead with idle time on our hands.

Temptation will show up when we put off doing what we know to do.

Easy living and a comfortable life can be a good thing, but be careful not to slide into it by avoiding what you should do first.
