Day1
Mark15:43
“So a prominent Jewish leader named Joseph, from the village of Ramah, courageously went to see Pilate and begged to have custody of the body of Jesus. Joseph was a highly regarded member of the Jewish council and a follower of Jesus who was eagerly awaiting the kingdom of God.”

Eagerly Awaiting
The Greek text could be translated “ he, Joseph was habitually focusing and progressively moving toward receiving [welcoming, anticipating] God’s Kingdom reign.”
Are we eagerly awaiting Jesus return?
Are we habitually focusing on Jesus coming back for His people and reigning hear with us?
Are we progressively moving toward His soon return?
Are we welcoming Him into our everyday life, our every decision?
Joseph of Arimathia was living in a time where following Jesus was not popular, in fact it was dangerous, especially for a Jewish leader. Other than Nicodemus, He is the only one mentioned that believed Jesus was the Messiah. The other Jewish leaders had Jesus crucified.
Joseph took a stand for Jesus and gave financial gifts to honor Him in His burial.
What kind of stand are we taking?
The name of Jesus is to this day a controversial topic. Any other name is spoken without notice, but if you mention the name of Jesus, other than in a curse, you most likely will be shunned or ridiculed or at the very least given a stink eye or an awkward hush will fall around you.
His name is above every other name and has great power.
We have access to His name. We are His bride, His church!
Stand up, be proud and shout His name out loud!
We are His!
Be courageous in Jesus name!
Share Him with someone today.
