Day1
Psalm 107:28-30
“Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distress. He made the storm calm, and the sea waves were still. They were glad because the waters were quiet, so He brought them to their desired harbor.”

Desired Harbor
Have you ever been on a large lake or on the ocean when the winds are high or a storm suddenly blows in?
The wind is scary. The swells are high and crash onto the boats floor. You are tossed here and there, up and down. I actually almost went overboard last summer while on vacation. My hands were gripped tightly on the railing and my body left the floor and went straight up and thankfully not over, but crashed back down on the boat’s floor. I sustained a bruised knee and some minor cuts on my leg.
Thank you , Lord for rescuing me!
When we cry out, He is faithful.
Are we crying out?
Have you ever said, “All we can do is pray.” In the midst of a severe circumstance?
Prayer! Oh my, has it come to that?
Why does it take a storm to cry out?
We can cry out in praise or just simply have a conversation with our Savior anytime. He is listening.
He wants to bring us to our desired harbor.
Are you asking God for the desires of your heart? His Word says He will give them to you. Psalm 37:4
Delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Talk to Him today, right now. There is no need to wait for a storm, though He will show up faithfully when we call on Him.
Seek Him before the storm and you will have faith to trust Him to get you to the desired harbor. You will have faith to speak to your storm in Jesus name and the storm will bow it’s knee to the name of Jesus.
Seek Him and not the safe desired harbor.
He promised to take you there. You have no need to seek it.
Delight in you Lord and praise Him. Thank Him for loving you and caring for you!
You will have perfect peace in His arms right in the middle of the storm.
