Day2
Mark15:2-5
“As Jesus stood in front of the Roman governor, Pilate asked him, “So, are you really the king of the Jews?” Jesus answered, “You have just spoken it.” Then the ruling priests, over and over, made bitter accusations against him, but he remained silent. So Pilate questioned him again. “Have you nothing to say? Don’t you hear these many allegations they’re making against you?” But Jesus offered no defense to any of the charges, much to the astonishment of Pilate.”
Mark 15:2-5 TPT

Defense
Why am I so defensive?
Are you defensive?
Do you have a quick comeback? Maybe your quick witted. Do you have a humorous comeback?
Most of us humans answer back to defend ourselves or to cause others to think we are funny or smart. Whatever the end game may be, we rarely remain silent.
We are taught to defend ourselves from a very young age. Survival of the fittest. Only the strong survive. The survival instinct. And so on.
But Jesus answered nothing.
He completely trusted in His Father to take care of Him!
Who are we trusting in?
Relax and let go of your need to control everything.
(As if we can control anything anyway)
Our Heavenly Father is good and He has a unique purpose for each of us.
“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.”
Jeremiah 29:11 AMPC
Let Him be your defender.
Jesus said He only spoke what His Father said.
John12:49; 5:19.
Listen and hear what your Father is saying.
Read His Word and be ready with His defense.
He did not defend Himself, but He defended the weak , those who were unable to defend themselves.
Let us be like Him.
