Day2
Mark 11:29-33
“Jesus replied, “I too have a question to ask you. If you can answer this question, then I will tell you by what power I do all these things. Where did John’s authority to immerse come from? Was it from heaven or from people? Answer me now.” They stepped away and debated among themselves, saying, “How should we answer this? If we say, ‘from heaven,’ he will say to us, ‘Then why didn’t you respond to John and believe what he said?’ But if we say, ‘from the people,’ we fear the crowds, for they’re convinced that John was God’s prophet.” So they finally answered, “We don’t know.” “Then neither will I tell you where my power comes from to do these things,” Jesus replied.”

Defense
It is human nature to defend ourselves. We often times end up arguing because rather than listening, we jump into defensive mode and it gets ugly.
I have never read in scripture where Jesus defended Himself.
He answered them with a question. He answered the devil with scripture.
Luke 4:1-13
Jesus was confident in Who He was. He was confident in the Love of His Father. He had no need to defend Himself.
Are you confident in who you are in Christ? Do you know and believe that your Heavenly Father loves you?
God so loved the world that He gave. John 3:16
( that includes you, yes you. All of you, even the ugly parts that you want no one to see)
You are the righteousness of God.2 Corinthians 5:21
You are more than a conqueror. If God is for us, who can be against us…Romans 8:31-39
You have the mind of Christ.1 Corinthians 2:16
I encourage you to do a google search on who I am in Christ.
Write down the scriptures that speak to you and start confessing them out loud morning and night for 1 week.
Put your name in it.
Example: God loves Jacqie so much that He gave Jesus in exchange for Jacqie! Jacqie is the righteousness of God in Christ. I am more than a conqueror… you get the idea.
SEE what God will do in 2022!
