Deep Dive
Chapter 10 has so much treasure in it that I believe it’s important to continue here another week doing a deep dive into the references, dig up some buried gems and bring them to the surface.
Psalm 40:6-8 TPT
This reference stood out to me and seems to push to the surface a wonderful gem from this passage.
”It’s not sacrifices that really move your heart. Burnt offerings, sin offerings—those aren’t what bring you joy. But when you open my ears and speak to me, I become your willing servant, your prisoner of love for life. So I said, “Here I am! I’m coming to you as a sacrifice, for in the prophetic scrolls of your book you have written about me. I delight to fulfill your will, my God, for your living words are written upon the pages of my heart.”“
Have you ever noticed that we hear things differently when we are under water?
As we deep dive into this passage think of how the sound waves happening above water seem muffled when you are submerged.
Humans can actually hear at higher frequencies under water.
When God opens our ears to hear His voice and we surrender, it is like being under water.
All of a sudden we can hear His higher frequency.
The sounds of this world screaming at us become muffled the more we submerge into His love and amazingly His will becomes more clear.
Jesus was fully submerged and in perfect harmony with His Father’s higher frequency.
God doesn’t require more sacrifices, He only longs for a deeper surrender.
He wants us to delight to do His will.
He has written His laws on our hearts.
The deeper we dive and allow ourselves to submerge, the better we will hear from our Father and the less we will hear the screaming lies of this world and the enemy!
Action Step
”From now on, worshiping the Father will not be a matter of the right place but with a right heart. John 4:23
Think about what it means to worship God with all your heart and mind.
When you’re ready, bring to God any concerns that might be keeping you from worshipping Him.
