Day2
Psalm 107:10-11
“Some of us once sat in darkness, living in the dark shadows of death. We were prisoners to our pain, chained to our regrets. For we rebelled against God’s Word and rejected the wise counsel of God Most High.”

Darkness and Pain
I once sat in darkness and a prison of pain. I was imprisoned by severe migraines for two years of my life. I was never without pain for two years. Most of the time I sat in darkness trying to get some relief. I was afflicted and felt little hope, like I was chained in irons from any type of fulfilling life.
I was not given this darkness and pain by God. This was an attack from the enemy of my soul. I believe that I opened up a crack by allowing strife in my life and that gave way to a foothold and then a stronghold for the devil.
The Word of God is power. Overcoming power for every situation we may face. I rebelled against learning how to tap into that power when my Pastor announced that we are to take the Word of God like we take our medicine. We should confess it out loud every time we take our medicine. He had healing scriptures printed up for us. I took the first step and went to the lobby and picked up a copy. I even confessed or recited the two pages of scriptures the next morning. I then gave up and rebelled thinking it was to hard. I suffered for another 6 months until God in His mercy reminded me again through another minister. I repented and began obeying. Almost two years later my faith took hold and grew and I was healed and delivered out of darkness and free from pain!!!
Praise God!
Even if you have rejected the counsel of the most high God, He is merciful and when you call on Him, hungry and thirsty,He hears you!
Praise Jesus!
