A plant only produces an abundant crop after it is pruned!
The fruit of the Spirit will only be evident in our lives when we listen to the Holy Spirit and obey His correction.
Cutting and plucking are not only important, but necessary for the growth and health of the plant.
Spending time alone with God keeps our hearts open to Him.
If we ignore His correction, we will become over grown and almost beyond pruning.
Have you ever had a plant that you let get overgrown or let the weeds take over? It can be overwhelming to deal with.
Allow the Holy Spirit to prune you before a situation becomes overgrown.
Listen, pray, fast, read His Word and obey His voice.
Cutting and plucking is better than an unquenchable fire.
