Day4
1 Samuel 18
Week31
“So David went out wherever Saul sent him and had success, so Saul set him over the men of war. It was pleasing in the eyes of all the people as well as in the eyes of Saul’s courtiers. Upon their coming back, upon David’s return from killing the Philistine, the women came out of all the towns of Israel, singing and dancing in circles to greet King Saul, with timbrels, with joy and with three-stringed instruments.”
1 Samuel 18:5-6 TLV

Celebration
How do you celebrate?
Do you shout, jump up, raise your hands-or do a dance?
Celebration is a tradition in Jewish culture that I admire.
They really know how to celebrate!
Dancing, singing, laughing, shouting….they get loud and are full of joy!
Do you have something to celebrate?
Maybe you are struggling right now.
Your bills aren’t paid, your body is giving out, your kids are a mess, you are depressed……
This is just the right time to celebrate.
What?
We already have won the battle through Jesus!
Our part is to act like it no matter what it feels or looks like.
Celebration should be a huge part of Christian culture! We have been given the keys to the Kingdom
Action Step
How can you praise God right now?
Do it! No really, do it now!
I’m serious
DO IT NOW!
