Day1
2 Thessalonians 1:1-3
“From Paul, Silas, and Timothy. We send our greetings to you, the Thessalonian congregation of believers, which is in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. May God’s delightful grace and peace rest upon you. We feel a personal responsibility to continually be thanking God for you, our spiritual family, every time we pray. And we have every reason to do so because your faith is growing marvelously beyond measure. The unselfish love each of you share for one another is increasing and overflowing!”

Beyond Measure
How can we know if our faith is growing?
Does love abound in us toward one another?
God is love. Where there is love, there is faith.
Faith can not work in an unforgiving heart.
Strife or unforgiveness is a blessing blocker.
Why?
Because perfect love casts out all fear. Fear is a faith drainer.
Strife and unforgiveness are rooted in fear.
How?
We become angry when something or someone gets in the way of what we want. We become afraid that our way or our needs won’t be met. We hold onto unforgiveness because we are afraid that we will be hurt again.
The root is always fear.
Fear is a liar and faith can not grow when being choked out by fear.
Perfect love produces trust. Fear can not survive where there is trust.
If you want faith beyond measure, then develop love towards one another. Let go of offense and pursue peace.
If we hope to endure under persecution, we must develop perfect love.
Action Step:
Examine your heart and identify any strife or unforgiveness.
Choose to love!
