Day2
1 Thessalonians 5:14-15
“We appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, to instruct those who are not in their place of battle. Be skilled at gently encouraging those who feel themselves inadequate. Be faithful to stand your ground. Help the weak to stand again. Be quick to demonstrate patience with everyone. Resist revenge, and make sure that no one pays back evil in place of evil but always pursue doing what is beautiful to one another and to all the unbelievers.”

Be Patient With Everyone!
Are you in proper battle formation?
Are you skilled in encouraging those who feel inadequate?
Are you a comforter?
Do you support the weak?
Wow?
Did you fail your self evaluation like me?
How are we supposed to do all that?
I have found that the key ingredient to staying in proper battle formation is forgiveness.
Mercy is the only way to be patient with everyone.
When I am the most irritable, it always helps to seek God and ask Him, “Is there anyone who I have not forgiven?” Then just sit quietly and listen. The answer usually comes up pretty quick. Sometimes the answer is myself. I am most critical of myself.
Whoever the Lord show’s you, is not as important as being obedient to choose to forgive whoever.
The thing about unforgiveness is that we were not meant to carry it. It is heavy and will bring you to your knees. Give it to God and be free.
When you are free you can be patient with everyone.
