Day5
Psalm 107:33-38
“Whenever he chooses he can dry up a river and turn the land into a desert. Or he can take a fruitful land and make it into a saltwater swamp, all because of the wickedness of those who dwell there. But he also can turn a barren wilderness into an oasis with water! He can make springs flow into desert lands and turn them into fertile valleys so that cities spring up, and he gives it all to those who are hungry. They can plant their fields and vineyards there and reap a bumper crop and gather a fruitful harvest. God will bless them and cause them to multiply and prosper.”

Are You Hungry?
The first part of today’s passage seems very bleak and it’s somewhat scary until you realize that God is in control of everything and this is how he deals with the wicked. We are not wicked we are redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus. We don’t live under the curse of the law. Romans 8: 1 says, “ there is now no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.”
God doesn’t rehearse our sins; He releases them. Are you born again? Do you belong to Christ Jesus? Then that settles it! God loves you, you are totally forgiven.
As we read verse 36 we can see that the hungry are those who are seeking God with their whole heart, Seeking first the kingdom of God. (Jeremiah 29:13, Matthew 6:33) Those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled. Matthew 5:6
Can you see how God takes care of us His children that He loves?
What is one way God is taking care of you right now?
Focus on that today. Thank God for His provision.

Thank you God that my needs are met. Thank you God for providing tuition for me to go back to school. Thank you God for keeping Mya and Noah safe. Thank you that we all have cars. Thank you for keeping them running and operating safely. Thank you for providing a tail light for Mya. Thank you for fixing Noah’s tail lights wiring.
Thank you, Lord that you provide for me above all I could ask or think.
