Appearances
Jesus hung on a cross between to criminals.
To all who passed by, He looked like a criminal. It was customary to name the crime on a sign above the cross of each criminal.
Imagine passing by and reading , Thief , King of the Jews, Thief.
I am not sure if I would even read the signs. Even so, He looked just like the other two criminals. Humiliated for all to see.
Would He have stood out in any way to me as I passed by going about my day. “Another criminal getting what he deserves.” I may think or say.
Appearance’s are usually deceiving.
Who are you over looking as you pass by because of their appearance?
Ask God to cause them to stand out to you, so that you can encourage them and you never know, they may be who God sent to encourage you.
Let’s take a second look
