“David said to him, “Will you bring me down to this raiding party?” And he said, “Swear to me by God that you will neither kill me, nor deliver me into the hand of my master, and I will bring you down to this raiding party.” When he brought him down, they were spread out over all the land, eating, drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil which they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah.”

All Is Well
Oftentimes when all is well in our lives, we can be slack in remembering to thank God and offer Him the praise He deserves.
The Amalekites were
careless in their celebration. They were so arrogant that they didn’t even consider a retaliation.
Are things going well for you right now?
Praise God! Thank Him for His provision and protection.
Maybe things aren’t going so well for you today?
Consider God’s providential hand in your situation. Just like God presented the enemy to David in a vulnerable state , He knows all about your enemy and as we put our trust in Him we can confidently say all is well even in the darkest of times.
