Abundance or lack?

Day1

Mark12:41-44

“Then he sat down near the offering box, watching all the people dropping in their coins. Many of the rich would put in very large sums, but a destitute widow walked up and dropped in two small copper coins, worth less than a penny. Jesus called his disciples to gather around and then said to them, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given a larger offering than any of the wealthy. For the rich only gave out of their surplus, but she sacrificed out of her poverty and gave to God all that she had to live on, which was everything she had.””

Abundance or lack?

Giving out of love or a willing heart always produces joy!

When we use our faith to give, there is an abundance of joy!

When all your needs are met and you have an overflow, it is not a sacrifice to give from your extra. You will have joy and you should give to further the Gospel and to help others, but your joy may not be full until you step out in faith and give extravagantly.

When we hold onto what we have we are tying God’s hands. He wants to give extravagantly, pressed down shaken together and running over.

By holding on to our own provision we are telling God that we can take care of ourself. There is no need to trust Him.

If you have ever been in lack and gave anyway, you know that God always supplies more than enough, Amen!

Last year I gave more than I ever have in my lifetime and God blessed me beyond all I could ask or think!

  1. I was able to self-publish 3 books(an expensive undertaking)

  2. I am 2 car payments away from owning a debt free car.

  3. My children’s books are going around the world through Samaritans Purse ministry.

  4. God restored my marriage( an impossible situation)!

  5. I have an unquenchable desire to know more about God’s love for me and others!

Stretch your faith today and give extravagantly, above your tithe(for that already belongs to God).

Give more than you are comfortable with.

Sow a seed and Trust God to not only meet , but exceed your need.

Let go of your control.

Don’t do it because I encourage you to. Do it with a willing heart and watch what God will do for you in 2022!
