Day5
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
“With this in view we constantly pray for you, that our God may deem and count you worthy of [your] calling and [His] every gracious purpose of goodness, and with power may complete in [your] every particular work of faith (faith which is that leaning of the whole human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness). Thus may the name of our Lord Jesus Christ be glorified and become more glorious through and in you, and may you [also be glorified] in Him according to the grace (favor and blessing) of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).”

Absolute Trust
Have you ever done the trust exercise?
The one where you fall backward trusting the person behind you to catch you?
I have never been able to do it successfully.
Today, we are not talking about trusting in mere humans.
We are talking about trusting in Our God. Our Savior.
In order to have absolute trust in Him, we have to know Him well.
Confidence is built up when we are sure about something.
How can you be sure about God and His intentions toward you?
Read and study His Word. Examine His track record.
Talk with Him.
You trusted Him with your eternity through believing His complete work on the cross.
He is Faithful and deserves our absolute trust.
Action Step:
Close your eyes and imagine Jesus standing behind you.
Imagine your self falling backwards into His arms.
How did you do?
Were you scared?
Did you let yourself fall?
Search His Word and revisit His track record.
Revisit what He has already brought you through and thank Him for it.
