Day3
2 Thessalonians 1:6-8
“It is right and just for God to trouble your troublers and give rest to the troubled, both to you and to us, at the unveiling of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his messengers of power within a flame of fire. He will bring perfect and full justice to those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to embrace the gospel of our Lord Jesus.”

Rest
The concept of rest for us is to relax, self-care, sleep, etc.
Paul is talking to them about death from persecution. He is letting them know that they will find rest in death.
This is a reminder that rest will come, but know is the time to keep running our race. We must press on and endure. God sees all things and He will repay those who trouble you.
Today is the day of salvation and we must tell the good news of the Gospel. Time is shorter now than ever.
For now, we rest in Him putting our full trust in Him.
Faith brings a restful peace so that we can press on to the finish.
There is no time for slumber. The harvest is ripe and we need to be busy reaping!
